Water Sports in Dubai – Difference between Flyboard, Jetpack & Jetovator
In the world of water sports, you have probably tried out different sports and want to experience more action.
Investing in vacations and traveling creates memories that last a lifetime. What better way to create a lasting memory than by strapping on some jet boots or a jet pack and destroying the skies of Dubai like a superhero!
Flyboard, Water Jet Pack or Jetovator, which one is easier? An excellent question, but hard to answer. Different people find each of these fun and challenging in different ways, and some like one more than the other. However, they are all awesome!
Having said that, For those wondering how to pick between these 3 top tier water sports, we’ve outlined a few things below to help you pick the adventure you’d most enjoy.
Dubai has become a top destination for water sports and activities, and if there is a craze, Flyboarding is the ocean activity which is tearing up the waves in the city. It is also a great escape from your mundane daily life.
Upon first glance, the board looks as if it was straight out of a science fiction film. Flyboards allow riders to ‘fly’ above the water by using water pressure. It all works on a surprisingly simple principle of Physics. During the ride, the rider wears a life jacket and helmet for safety, and stands on a board similar to a wakeboard, which is attached to a jet-ski via a tube that pumps water into the board. The jet-ski engine is responsible for pumping water and propelling the board upward. A jet-ski instructor will be controlling the pressure.
You can move a bit more freely, but on the downside, you must use your feet in order to get yourself in the correct position and achieve balance. As you learn to control it, however, it is astonishingly stable, and the first challenge you will face will be finding the correct position to lift yourself out of the water. Some people require a while to get up, but once you’re up you’ll quickly learn to calm your body and use your feet to stand without too much tension with the help of your instructor. Getting up your first time takes a bit more trial and error, and you may fall into the water a few times, but you’ll soon be able to fly, spin, walk on water, and surf the sky!
Flyboard and JetPack share the same principle, except that the JetPack’s engine is on the back. Jet bike and Water Jetpack rides in Dubai can make you feel like Tony Stark as you take off several meters high while wearing the new Iron Man suit! You control your direction with your arms by pointing at your jetpack.
As a beginner, using the jetpack comes across as a little easier since you can be up and flying in just a couple of seconds. There are some challenges to overcome, however but that’s what makes the process so much fun! This sport doesn’t require muscles, and it requires little or no strength. You need to be relaxed and calm with a gentle grip to move forward. The pack, however, is a little more constricting since you’re strapped to the seat and to the pack like a roller coaster. It may be a little scary if you’re claustrophobic or a little more nervous, so your greatest challenge will be relaxing so that you can learn. Think of the board as a controlling machine that is securing you into it and moving forward at high speeds as opposed to a board that is free-form and more tippy.
You will have an experience that is UNLIKE ANY OTHER. It’s all about subtle movements, learning new habits, developing new motor skills, and creating new muscle memory. Anyone can accomplish this, and it gets better the more you do it!
Throughout the session, the instructor will provide tips on navigating, landing, and uplifting so you have nothing to worry about.
During your first flight, you should be able to achieve a good lift, directional control and speed and perhaps even walk on water!
Do you know of a way to combine a motorbike,a jet ski, and an airplane? You might be wondering how that can even be possible. Nevertheless, it is possible in this technological age. All you need is a jetovator. The question is, what is this vehicle?
The Jetovator is very similar to a water-jetpack, except that it is driven like a motorcycle and is the world’s first water-powered flying bike! Isn’t that cool?
The sleek body is like a racing motorbike while the aerial capabilities are like a fighter aircraft. And the best part is that it is very simple and easy to use. Riding this cool water vehicle does not require any type of training, and it is very safe to use as well.
Jetovators combine the thrill of flying with the ease of riding a bike. It is designed to propel you forward, as well as take you up to 30 feet in the air and 10 feet below the surface of the water.
All of them have very similar characteristics, yet they differ in their own way. They each enable personal flight by controlling a massive stream of water. Apart from that, each experience is pretty unique.
We personally love each of them and if one can spend a little on each, that would be the best way to decide. The choice now is all yours and happy flying!
