TOURS AND EXPERIENCES FOUND IN THE PARK
Listed below are few of the amazing things you can experince in this mini jungle!
The wildlife walk is one of the most spectacular attractions at Emirates Park Zoo. Here you’ll find three playful lions, several majestic tigers, two beaten cancer cheetahs, two lazy leopards and some stunning white tigers and Asian elephants. The area also supports a variety of herbivores, such as deer, oryx, and much more. Watch the inspiring story of Jasper and Shazzly, the two cheetahs who, despite malnutrition and even leukemia, fought bravely to survive. You can also feed the elephants in this zone.
Crocodiles have been around since the days of dinosaurs, and there aren’t many creatures as frightening as the multi toothed crocodile.
There are two Nile Crocs at Emirates Park Zoo, and they are fed Fridays and Saturdays at 4pm. It is an incredible sight to see if you have the stomach for it! You will also get the chance to ask the zookeeper questions about the Nile creatures, their habitats, natural behaviors, and the dangers that they face in the wild, as well as hold a baby crocodile on this interactive tour.
Feed a handful of plants to the park’s friendly giraffes as you climb the steps to new heights. It stands almost five metres tall and weighs nearly 1,200kg, so getting the perfect selfie may be difficult.
The indigenous desert animals are found in this area of the Abu Dhabi zoo. It is possible to get up close and personal with the camels here. Your children should maintain a healthy distance, if you don’t want them to accidentally bite you. Bison, cows, and more animals can also be seen near the camels.
The monkeys are out in full force here and different varieties of them can be found. At this area of the park, you can see everything from cheeky capuchin monkeys to cute marmoset monkeys.
You want to feed an elephant, don’t you? Fortunately, you can! Indian elephants Madu and Rada enjoy nothing more than eating leaves.
It is where you can most certainly find your kids enjoying themselves. Here your children can see goats, sheep, and other farm animals. You can interact with them, feed them, and observe them closely.
The Flamingo Park is directly across from the bear cave, where pink-tipped flamingos in elegance stroll around.
The brown bear is always in a good mood as he frolics around his recreated cave. It may take more than one visit to spot him as he is known for long naps.
There are many beautiful pythons, boa constrictors, and even anacondas to be seen as you stroll through Snake Alley. The massive python might even swallow its prey if you happen to pass by at the right time!
