Important Information

  • Passport or Emirates ID is mandatory to be carried during this activity
  • Non-commercial photography and filming are encouraged and allowed
  • There are no cloakroom or locker facilities available on the Palace grounds
  • In consideration for other visitors, mobile phones must be switched to silent
  • Valet parking is available at the Visitor Center car park at a charge of AED 80
  • Prayer rooms are available for both men and women at the Visitor Centre and Zayed Gate

Special Note:  In line with the latest directive’s issues by the UAE authorities, Entry is allowed for those vaccinated with green status on Alhosn App (requires a PCR test every 30 days), exempted from vaccination with green status (requires a PCR test every 7 days) and children under 16 with green status (does not require a test.)

Child Policy

  • Children under 4 years will be considered as infant and entry will be free of cost
  • Children aged from 4 to 17 years will be considered as child and charged a child rate
  • Children above age 17 will be considered as an adult and charged the adult rate

What is the timing of Qasr Al Watan?
Qasr Al Watan is now open 7 days a week from 11:00 am - 10:00 pm (Exception closure for notified events).
Palace: Daily 11:00 am - 8:30 pm

Where I can park my car?
There are ample parking spaces available and there is no charge to park here. Yes, valet parking is available at the Visitor Centre car park at a charge of AED 52. It is available from 9:30 am to 8:30 pm, 7 days a week.
Are refund possible for the entry fee?
No, there are no refunds on any and all entry tickets.
If I leave the grounds, can I return again?
No, once you exit the premises you will not be able to enter again.
Are Mobile phones & photography allowed in Qasr Al Watan?
Yes, non-commercial photography and filming are encouraged. In consideration for other visitors, mobile phones must be switched to silent.
Is smoking allowed?
Yes, a designated smoking area is located outside the Visitor Centre.
Are pets / Scotties / Bicycles allowed in in Qasr Al Watan?
Animals or pets, Cars, Balls, Scotties, Bicycles, Hoverboards, Pets are not allowed.
Are there prayer facilities in the site?
There are prayer rooms available for both men and women at the Visitor Centre and the Ceremonial Gate.
Internet accessible available for the visitors?
There is no Wi-Fi available throughout the Palace grounds.
