Experience the thrill of ice skating at the Dubai Ice Rink at The Dubai Mall – General Admission Ticket. If you are an ice skating lover, you must visit Ice Rink at Dubai Mall. It is one of the biggest and fully equipped rinks in Dubai City. The setup is located on the ground floor at the Dubai mall and expands to the second floor. You can enjoy skating sessions, disco and snowfall sessions on weekdays and weekends! If you are wandering around Dubai city & thinking about the shiny skyscrapers buildings that can make you hot and sweaty, fortunately, there is the coolest place for a change of pace. You can also play ice hockey here, if you need any assistance then special coaching will be provided on request. The age limit should be above 4 years old. From time to time, several Ice Hockey teams from all parts of the world take part in the Ice Hockey association organized by the Hockey Federation of the country. Now get out of the desert heat and go to the glassy surface of frozen H2O, completely prepped for winter sports activities. This is the coolest place for a change of pace. If you have no skates, you can rent them. Thousands of skates are available; you will definitely find your size. Shimmering desert illusion lays an Olympic-sized ice rink, where you can cool off.

Children are welcome to skate without their parents. However, children under 5 years old must be accompanied on the ice by a paying adult.
Guests are encouraged to use their own ice skates. Using your own skates will improve your skating experience. Figure and hockey skates can be purchased from our store and staff will advise on the skate suitable for your individual needs.
Lockers are available for customer skating on that session at a cost of AED 15 per session plus AED 20 (refundable deposit).
Like any other sport, ice skating has a certain amount of risk to it, but in a supervised environment with marshals.
Some parents choose to get their children in skates and on the ice as soon as they are able to walk, but the ideal age to begin tot ice skating lessons is at about three or four. To use Icebykes or eBykes, children need to be from 120cm in height.
Dubai Ice Rink has two options. Penguins skate aids designed to help young children to gain confidence with their first steps onto the ice. There are 50 available penguin stability aids for hire. These are hired on a first-come, first-served basis. It is not possible to book it in advance. We also provide double-bladed skates (Bob Skates) providing your child with the sliding sensation whilst having increased stability.
Snowman skating aids are designed for kids over 12 years old as well as for adults. It costs AED40 and it is good for 1-hour use. There are a limited number of snowmen skate aids, which are available on a first-come, first-served. It is not possible to book it in advance.
Skates are available for hire at the Skate Hire Counter, and yes, they’re included in the session ticket price.
There is a first aid room located near the management office. In the unlikely event that you or a member of a group should need first aid assistance, please alert a member of staff. Every day a nurse is on-site for the peak periods.
Yes, helmets are available at the price of AED10 per session (helmets are included in the ticket price for children under 1 meter)
